🔐 Login Services & Privacy
Work Social's login system meets Apple's privacy requirements:
- ✅ Only collects your name and email address for authentication
- ✅ Your email is kept private from all other users
- ✅ We do NOT collect or track interactions for advertising purposes
- ✅ No third-party advertisers have access to your data
- ✅ You control your privacy settings and can delete your account anytime
Data Collection Summary
✅ We Collect:
- Email address (for authentication only)
- Display name/screen name (optional, user-provided)
- Posts, comments, jobs, and resources you submit
- Usage analytics (anonymized, no personal identifiers)
- City and state (only if you provide it)
❌ We DO NOT Collect:
- Clinical notes or patient information (notes are NOT saved)
- Social Security Numbers
- Credit card or financial information
- GPS location tracking
- Protected Health Information (PHI) or medical records
- Biometric data
- Contacts or photos (unless you upload them)
- Data for advertising purposes (we have NO advertisers)
How We Use Your Data
- To provide authentication and account services
- To display your public posts and contributions
- To moderate content and enforce community guidelines
- To improve app functionality (anonymized analytics)
- To respond to support requests
We will NEVER: Sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing without your explicit consent.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may access your data:
- Base44 Platform: Backend infrastructure and authentication (data stored in secure cloud)
- Supabase: File storage for public images only
- No advertising networks or trackers
- No social media pixels
Data Retention
Your account data: Retained while your account is active.
Public posts/resources: May remain visible even after account deletion (community contributions)
Clinical notes: NOT stored on our servers (copy-to-clipboard only)
Account deletion: You can delete your account at any time through Account & Privacy Settings.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request corrections to your data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your posts and contributions
- Opt out of analytics (contact us)
- Keep your email address private from other users

Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. However, no system is 100% secure. Never share PHI, passwords, or sensitive personal information through this app.
Children's Privacy
Work Social is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 18. If we discover a minor has created an account, we will delete it immediately.
Changes to Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2025. We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced in-app.
